I am really not that excited about eating here, DH really wants to. THe main reason is that I ate here on a trip without DH. ANyway, is there any chance of getting a different choice for a kid, like um chicken nuggets for a picky 6 year old? That would convince me not to eat there.

I'm not sure. Teppan Edo is my kids number 1 pick for every trip. The food is not fancy by any stretch, and they love the show.

Our strategy for picking restaurants for our trips is to allow every person to pick one as their favorite (or something they really want to try) and then we all have to agree on the others. Maybe this can be your DH's pick?

Our picky eater has rice, and now has decided she likes the udon noodles they have there, without the veggies... so that is what she has that meal... not the best, but works.

It's on our families must do list. We like the show, and the simple food. Esp after eating cheeseburgers and pastas...

Here's a convenient excuse you could borrow - My reason for not picking TE is that we can find a Hibachi restaurant close to home and they're basically all the same in terms of food and show.

We're eating here on our next trip. We've always avoided it due to my *very picky son. We finally decided we're gonna try it, he won't eat the rice, veggies or noodles, but just might try the steak, we'll see. I figure if he doesn't, he can always get a CS meal afterwards.
As far as them offering nuggets, I haven't seen any dining reports on here where the kids have gotten them (doesn't mean it hasnt happened though). Maybe you could just pick them up some from one of the counter service locations on your way to your ADR.

I am giving it a try on this trip... however... We went to Marrakesh on our last trip and the food was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend it (and I'm a picky eater!!) Plus they have belly dancers!! How fun is that??
