What are your thoughts on this resturant? How is the food and the sushi?

Was only there once, 2 years ago. When we went we absolutely loved it, though! Entertaining chefs, wonderful food. Pricey, so be prepared for that...

You sit with other people that you don't know, unless you have a large party with you. Similar to Biergarten in that way.

We love hibachi style and this is a must-do for us. The food is great, the chefs are talented and entertaining, and the atmosphere is just fun. I haven't had sushi there, but it looks amazing!

GREAT! We've heard nothing but good stuff about this place and I'm booking it for our trip in a year from now! What time do you guys suggest for dinner if I want to be walking out on the terrace just in time for Illuminations to be starting?

We didn't try their sushi, but really enjoyed our meal. We definitely will be going back.

Teppan Edo was good, but the hibachi near my house is WAAAAY better. Not even in the same league. But it's worth going to for the entertainment and atmosphere. I went in July 2009. The chicken I got was sprinkled with many many sesame seeds which didn't really taste that good and the rice was just plain white rice with no taste.

We like it. Its entertaining and my kids like the food. We don't go to our local hibachi so for us its fun.

Its ok..we have been a few times but since we have a great local hibachi place that offers more food, fried rice, soup, salad and shrimp appie with the meal and it is much cheaper we tend to just skip TE for something else.

If TE offered soup, salad and fried shrimp I have a feeling we would eat there more

Do you get enough food or do you walk away "not quite" full?

We love it and have a ADR for this year again! DH is 6'4" and about 190 lbs. and was "not quite full". However, the kids and I had plenty to go around. The kids were not happy the first time we said we were going here - but after one experience it is a "must do" on their list. My DS11 is addicted to their white dipping sauce. Last year he expressed this to our chef and they brought him out a big bowl of it. I just wish we could have purchased a bottle of this stuff!

Plenty of food, even for our four six-footers, and quite good. But: hot, crowded, noisy.

This is fun not only because of the show the chef's put on but also because of the family style seating around the chef. Small parties may end up sitting with people you don't know but that's kinda fun. We love this type of food and it is filling, of course we have much better and less expensive ones at home but you're at Disney and you have to pay the piper!

The only thing I would love to see are more menu choices but the DDP/FD have put a stop to that!

The sushi is very limited, fine but nothing exceptional! Typical big eaters may be hungry soon after eating there, as is the case with my 6/2 14 year old son. The good thing is that since you're in Epcot, there just another snack waiting for him in the next country!

We love Teppan Edo and it is a must do for us each trip D(adult)S always asks for his birthday meal. We have never left hungry. Their sushi is limited to appetizers and I do not believe it is included in the DDP. There is another restaurant in the building, Tokoyo Dining with a wide selection of sushi. Maybe you are thinking of that?
By the way, fried rice is a Chinese dish, not a Japanese dish. I would not expect it at an authentic Japanese restaurant.
