I've always wanted to try Teppan Edo, it looks like fun, but neither DH or myself like seafood or fish. Will the chicken taste fishy?? Do they use the same utensils etc that they use on fish/seafood, or fish oils?? Thanks, Tracey

Hubby and I eat nothing that comes out of the sea. Teppan Edo is one of our favorite places. They cook the chicken on a separate section of the grill than the shrimp [that's all the seafood I have seen cooked] I do believe they use the same utensils but I have never had any of my food taste like seafood. It has been delicious every time we have gone. We highly recommend it.

We just ate at Teppan Edo for Thanksgiving Dinner last week. The food was great, but what made the experience terrific was the staff. I have never met such nice people ever in my life, and I'm from the South! :goodvibes

I had chicken and shrimp, and the chicken didn't taste fishy to me at all. The shrimp was cooked in separate areas of the grill and was very fresh...I think that is the key to whether or not seafood tastes fishy or not.

Try the chocolate ginger cake! I have to admit that I thought it sounded weird on the menu, but it was delicious! Also wonderful is the sparkling sake.

Enjoy!

I can't wait. Teppan Edo is our first dinner the day we arrive at WDW!!:cool1:

I loved Teppan Edo! I had the filet and did not find it fishy at all! Although I like seafood I was REALLY in the mood for steak that night - it was fantastic. I second the motion on the Chocolate Ginger cake - YUM!

Teppan Edo is our favorite place! The chicken never tasted fishy to me although I think they do use the same utensils. If you like beef, I highly recommend the filet!! MMM!!!

Teppan Edo is our must do for every trip. We are a family of 5, and we don't like any seafood. We've been seated with people ordering shrimp, so I also worried about the taste--no worries!

Order the Steak....It's delish!

Hm....interested in the ginger cake.

I had "Wasabi icecream" and "ginger icecream" at Teppan Yaki... (Before Teppan Edo) and both were delicious...but I think were discontinued...

Have a magical visit!
Mary

Teppan Edo is a must for DH and I. I am actually allergic to shrimp and they cook my items first and then the shrimp last.
