Teppan Edo

Glad you guys liked it. We LOVE Teppan Edo. The food is really good and the atmosphere is fun.

Thank you so much for the review and PICTURES at Teppen Edo. I felt like I was taking a leap of faith when I made that ADR so many months ago - - - there just weren't as many reviews then - and I think those are the only pictures I've seen of the food so far. Sooooooo looking forward to it!!!

We have ADRs for Oct. 22nd. Now I'm really excited. Love the monorail bowls. My kids will really like it. Do they have any other desserts other than the fruit cup. Not sure my kids will love that. I wish they would:laughing:

We have our ressies for 1pm on 10/7 Dh figured we would stuff our selves silly before the MNSSHP that night.. Im glad we booked it this year!

Now, how to let the kids know they can't keep the monorail dishes:rolleyes1

:) Yum, yum. We have gone to Teppan Edo the last 2 times and will be going again next month. One of our favorites and glad you enjoyed it.

awesome... thanks for the review... i cannot wait to eat there :)

just curious... do you know what the different sauces in the dish were? (were any of them peanut sauce?)

Hi, I am not the OP, but we just ate there on our last trip, and my son is allergic to peanuts. We mentioned it to the server, and the manager came over and told us they do not use peanut oil, and he then asked if my son could have sesame seeds. He did not mention the sauces, so I am assuming there are no peanuts in the sauce (but you should ask just in case, of course--my son did not eat any of the sauces).

Also, for those that like the monorail dish, our server told us they can be purchased in the store downstiars. Also, the kids meals that are served in those dishes are not cooked on the grill; they are brought to the table already cooked. Once my son found out he could not keep the dish, he decided to order one of the meals that is cooked at the table instead, so that might be important to your child, too.

I was wondering about the Le Cellier, was planning to make reservations hear the food was great! Was wondering though if it is an okay place for kids. Food and Atmosphere!

The food looks great! I'll have to remember, so we can try it our next trip! :)

We ate at Teppan Edo for the first time last Saturday and it was delicious. It is my new favorite place.

They did not list all of the ingredients in the sauces when they announced them, but none of them was called "peanut sauce." The darkest one was a ginger sauce, recommended for veggies. The medium brown one was a mustard sauce recommended for chicken and beef. I don't remember what the white one was called, but it was recommended for seafood. (I got chicken/steak, so I did not try that one.)

Yes, I agree none of the sauces were called Peanut sauce. Mustard, ginger, and the white one was introduced as "like Ranch sauce."

We liked the food but the portions were just enough not to feel stuffed. The negative thing I have to say is, my family of 5 was seated with 2 other couples. My 3 year old was placed at the corner of the table and she could barely reach her plate. Of course, my husband and I tried to scoot down on each side to allow her room but with our chairs we just couldn't pull her any closer. We were a little perturbed that we were arranged this way.

thanks for the sauce info... of course i will triple check with the chef and wait staff (as i do all the time everywhere!) but figured if i it was peanut sauce, we would just avoid the restaurant altogether, like we do w/'ohana...

thanks again :)

It all looks so good! I just switched a few things around to get a ressie. I'm really excited about it now!

I am so glad you liked it, last year we went and loved it so much. We had so much fun and really enjoyed the other guests seated with us.

I am so excited to being going again in a few weeks.

I am so glad I have given others the opportunity to try Teppan Edo if they were on the fence. WE LOVE IT.

I am changing an ADR for January's trip so we can visit Teppan Edo (only have 4 nights---not easy to choose!) instead.

Anyone who visits, be sure to check back in here and let me know what you thought!!

We ate @ Teppan Edo in February this year. We thought it was awesome . WE are eating there in a few weeks again.
