Teppan Edo

We were just there. The wait to sit down was long. We were on the deluxe plan. We had the tempura appetizer and shrimp cocktail appetizer. the shrimp cocktail was what it was shrimp cocktail. The tempura appetizer was not very good at all.

Entrees - we had the steak and shrimp, chicken and shrimp and just the shrimp. You get white rice, mushrooms, zuchini and onions and some noodles and three dipping sauces. The food was good. it was not great. we get better hibatchi at our hometown restaurant. It was good, though. our chef at the table was pleasant. Our waitress was pleasant. The service was not speedy though.

Desserts were a ginger cake and cheesecake. These were just OK.

Would we go back? No. Like I said, we can get better at home. It was just Ok for us.

I would love to know, too. If it's not has good as what you can get at home, I might cancel my reservation that I have. We have a party of 8 and it's hard to please everyone....we all love Japanese steakhouses and I don't want to be disappointed. :)

Our Japenese Steakhouse is much better at home. That being said, this was not horrible by any means, but I have had and can get better. That is why we won't be back.

We were there in Jan. we had a wonderful time! We had a woman chef, who was great, and very friendly and funny. The food was so fresh and delicious! We all loved it, including my 12 year old DS. We will be going back on our next trip in 2009.

Thank you! I was getting nervous - my dh and I have lunch reservations for our trip in May.

We had dinner there on Easter Sunday and thought it was great. We had eaten there once before when it was Teppanyaki; this was our first time since they changed it. We were with a party of 10 and had quite the variety of different orders and thought it was all good. Our chef was a lot of fun, and the service was good. I would definitely go back again.
