Does the Teppan Edo in Japan have an elevator to get up to the restautarant? I was reading a review on Tour Guide Mike and he said you have to go up the VERY steep steps. I have bad knees and don't know if I can go up or not. I have a res. for the Candlelight Package in Dec. I may have to make a change.

:goodvibes I thought I remembered an elevator, and then found this info here on the DIS and allears so unless they removed it during renovations you should be A OK :

Access to the restaurant is a wide wooden staircase. There is also an elevator available next to the main entrance to the department store which takes you to the restaurant waiting area.

Japan - has an elevator for you near the front entrance of their Mitsukoshi store. It is well worth your while to eat in the Teppanyaki dining room...

I can not emphasize enough how good the food is here. I will tell you that there is an elevator in the front of the pavilion by the store, as stated. I have used it with my son's stroller. I can also "warn" you if you will that you will NOT be able to get fried rice here. The chef will tell you that it is a Chinese food item and they will not serve or make it there. I can also tell you that one of my guilty pleasures here is the HOT towel you are given when you get there to wash up. It feels so nice, even after a long hot day outside. Enjoy it and let us know what you think when you return.
