Is this place really good? I never ate at Hibachi before and we will be a party of 8, one who is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. Will they be able to accommodate her (we never had a problem at Disney but does Japanese habachi cuisine contain peanut oils?)

What do you recommend? What are the noodles in?
Should I have picked Tutto instead?

I think this restaurant is perfect for a party of 8. We went in jan. and they were so attentive for my food allergy. Mine's a weird allergy to spinach, and they had a special dietician come over to me to discuss my allergy. I explained that so long as no salad has spinach in it, I'm fine, and they assured me that everything is spinach free. I'm thinking a nut allergy is more common in this day and age, and they have procedures that they follow.

You'll love it!

I have eaten there and can say they will have no problem accomodating peanut and other nut allergies. If they have to they will prepare a seperate plate first just in case.

Personaly I love the steak and shrimp. With a shot of hot saki on the side...:drinking1

ok I am sure you are all going to laugh, but like I said, I never had habachi before (we don't really go out all that much due to DD's allergy, Disney is really the only place we feel safe), but what is saki? is it a drink or a sauce? And at a habachi place are there different types of dipping sauces and things?

Has anyone eaten there with kids, what do the kids usually get?

My kids LOVE Teppan Edo. We haven't eaten Hibachi around here, so it's a treat when we go to WDW. DS normally gets the kid's shrimp meal, and DD gets the chicken and rice. They both really like the food and enjoy the show. They had 3 dipping sauces that I can remember, and the chef explained that one for for beef, one for seafood, and one for chicken. They were wonderful.

I got the steak and shrimp last time which was wonerful, but if I went again, I would just get the shrimp because it was better than the steak. Just delicious!

Sake is an alcoholic drink made from rice.

My grandsons really liked the kid's shrimp meal.
