I'm trying to decide between Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining for lunch. We are leaning towards the DxDDP, but don't have that booked yet.

We have been to both, but never on the DDP. We went to Tokyo dining last year and really liked it. My girls don't like Teppan Edo, and since it is only DH & I this trip I thought we might try that.

So, I am just trying to figure out the differences based on the dining plan (what's available, what's not, etc.)

DH likes sushi, but that not being included probably wouldn't be a deciding factor.

Thanks,
Maggie

I'd love to hear the comments too! We wanted Teppan Edo but could only get Tokyo Dining.:)

Teppan Edo is Hibachi (sp?) tables, ie you sit 8-12 per table around the flat grill where to cook prepares the food in front of you...

Typically, you have steak, chicken and/or shrimp grilled with some vegetables, rice and noodles. The chef would play with the knife and fork, make the famous volcano out of onions, and maybe a choo-choo train. Sometimes you may catch a flying shrimp.
