Teppan Edo vs Benihana

Sorry but Benihana is probably some of the worst Teppanyaki food that we have ever had. Teppan Edo is good. They do not do the fried rice, but we don't miss that since we can get it at our local place. We have always had good food at Teppan and go back almost every trip.

Teppan Edo is one of our "must dos" at WDW. Our family loves Benihana. I think the food is pretty comparable. I could make the case that Teppan Edo is an (even more) overpriced Benihana, but it feels special to dine there at Epcot, there is some variation in the menu compare to Benihana (yes, no fried rice), and we have always really enjoyed our meals. My kids would be very disappointed if we skipped it.

Anyone have a Benihana in their town who can compare the two? My kids FAVORITE restaurant is Benihana. They love the shrimp and steak combos and the fried rice. Because we can go to Benihana at home, have never considered Teppan Edo (so many other choices to try!). But our home Benihana has been closed for a year so contemplating Teppan Edo in a few weeks. Will they enjoy it as much? How do they compare? Thanks!

I think the building of Teppan Edo is better, being a Japanese traditional house on the 2nd floor.
