Teppan Edo v Tokyo Dining?

DH is going to be celebrating his birthday while we are in epcot. He loves Japanese food/sushi. Which one is better? I am in charge of planning (as always, so I'd hate to disappoint him).

I have been to both, and would prefer to eat at Tokyo Dining again, over Teppen Edo. There is a great variety of food, especially if he likes sushi. Dbf had the bento box with the steak and he still talks about it. I had the chicken/shrimp tempura, but would prefer to try the shrimp/scallop tempura next.

I have a fantastic hibachi style restaurant in my home town, so I don't feel Teppen Edo would be special for us, but your DH might like it

Edit: I beleive that you can order sushi at Teppen Edo, so you might be able to get the experience of Teppen Edo and dh could get sushi too. I may be wrong though?

Well, I looked at their menu and TE has some sushi. Tokyo Dining has more, but I have not heard as much about TD.

I would recommend TD. There will be more options for sushi. Also, it Will be more intimate - you will be seated with others if you go to Teppan Edo.

We loved Tokyo dining! The restaurant is beautiful, fabulous view, terrific food! The sushi melts in your mouth and the tempura is the best I've ever had!
