teppan Edo v Garden Grill

Hi please could i have yr opinions on best choice,forgetting one is "character" we are 2 adults and one 10yr old thanks.....

I'd take Teppan Edo everytime. We don't eat at this type of restaurant at home so when our DS(8 at the time) sat down with us, he was thoroughly impressed. He enjoyed the entertainment while the cooking was going on. (Mickey design on the grill with the oil, onion choo choo steam, tossing of shrimp tails into his hat, etc...) Of course when we left he said, why don't we have one of these in our kitchen and you cook like that, LOL!!!!

With this being said, our son never wanted to do a character meal even when he was little so if your 10yr old really wants a character meal, I'd do that or maybe both if it fits your plan. Teppan Edo has very good food, top 5 non signatures for us. Garden grill is good too.

I haven't been to Garden Grill, but we all found that our local Japanese steakhouses were better than Teppan Edo. Small portions, lack of seasoning. It was fun and good enough, but just not outstanding.

I found Teppan Edo seating to be very crowded with the hibachi grills extremely close together. I thought the food was pretty poor.

Teppon Edo is good. Nothing more or less than your typical local hibachi place ( is what we thought )

Garden Grill, was underwhelming for sure..Food to us was way too salty, and the round & round got annoying after a while...The character interaction was pretty good, & plentiful.. HTH.

We've enjoyed Teppan Edo each time we have been there. We don't have any restaurants like that where we live. I'm not fond of their dessert options, but a stroll to Karamell Kuche solves that.

we have never eaten at Teppan Edo, but we love the Garden Grill. The food is great, not typical theme park food. The characters are fun, too.

Never been to Teppan Edo because we have hibachi restaurants near our home, but we did go to Garden Grill on our last trip and it was one of my favorite meals! I plan to go back
