Does anyone know if Teppan Edo has tofu available as a substitute for meat or fish? My son (11) would love to eat here, but he's a vegetarian and I want to make sure he gets some protein.

Thanks!

Not sure about tofu but he can eat anything grill like the vegetables they have. Can he have rice? Mushrooms? But I am sure if you tell them before eating they will fix you up with something. The restaurants at Disney will go out of their way to fix a meal that you can eat. I have many allergies & they are able to fix me a meal. :goodvibes

I hate being vegetarian and eating meals without protein. I always wind up hungry soon after.

There are two appetizers--tofu salad and edamame--on their menu, either of which which would give your son his protein. I'm not sure if the tofu that they use in the salad is soft or firm, which could make a difference in whether it could hold up on the grill. If soft, it would probably turn out like scrambled eggs, which wouldn't be too bad. Or you could have them combine the edamame with the other vegetables on the grill.
