Teppan Edo Tipping

We will be eating at Teppan Edo in just a few days. Are tips given to both the waiter/waitress and the chef preparing the food? I just don't want to be the fool that doesn't tip both, or the only one at the table leaving too much money. Any opinions would be appreciated.

At my local place you only tip once to the server and then the server shares the tip with the chef.

You pay the tip to the server when you pay your check, that covers everything.
