Teppan Edo question

You get your choice of 1 as your appi (I've never cared for the soup or salad, so I get edamame, it is the best food in the world to me)
then you also get an entree (your meat,steamed rice, noodles and veggies)

With deluxe you also get a dessert.

I thought when you are on DDP, not deluxe, you always get a dessert but not an appetizer.

Crap it is, that ruins a lot. I for some reason thought it was an appetizer. uggh. thanks i totally forgot. It's been a long time since I've done base dining.

What do you mean you upgraded your sirloin dinner? You're telling me if you're on the dining plan, you can't get filet mignon??? If that's true, I'm going to cancel immediately.. that's a huge rip!

They have sirloin and shrimp combo, they upgraded to get the filet instead of the sirloin in their combo. You can get just the filet mignon that is on the menu with the dining plan.

We just ate here in June using the dining plan.
No appetizers were included.
DH had the shrimp.
I had the Filet Mignon. (definately did NOT have to pay to upgrade)
Both kids had the chicken.
It came with excellent flavored lo-mein noodles, veggies, (mushrooms if you ordered steak) and bowls of white rice.
The portions were more than plenty for all of us.
The desert options were green tea pudding (very nice flavor, sort of odd texture (more like a flan) and ginger chocolate layered cake which was excellent.
The service was excellent as well as the *show*. The food was also fantastic...filet was melt in your mouth, chicken was tender, and the shrimp were very sweet and fresh.
It is on our list for our next trip!

Oh, no. Now I don't know what to do. I'm glad to hear the positive reviews, but don't like the fact that the portions were so small, the family was eating burgers and dogs an hour later. Also, the shrimp appetizer, fried rice and especially the salad are all part of the great experience.

I have some thinking to do. Thank you so much as always for all the great information!!
