Teppan edo on DXDDP-do you get appetizer?

In 2006, we were on regular DP, and I think we had a choice of soup/salad for our appetizer. I see the menu on Allears has shrimp cocktail and tempura appetizers- can we get either of these included in our meal with the deluxe DP? We will probably order the steak & shrimp combo.

We were there in March (lunch). We were also on Deluxe Dining Plan. We could order any appetizer (shrimp cocktail or tempura) EXCEPT sushi.
