Teppan Edo if you don't eat seafood?

If you, or someone in your party, does not eat seafood at all, would you go to Teppan Edo? I am allergic to shellfish, plus my husband and I do not like seafood in general.

I know it's kind of a "communal table" and the food is cooked right there where you eat. We would have 6 total in our party. How many seats does each table have? I know Disney takes allergies pretty seriously, so I can't imagine they'd be cooking my food on the same cooking surface as someone else ordering shrimp--so would they seat us by ourselves?

Thanks for any insight on how this would work. :)

your meal would be cooked either before everyone else's meal at the table or cooked in the kitchen. I believe it is eight at a table so you would be seated with a couple. I have found that every time we have eaten at the Japan pavilion a manager has always come over to discuss my mom's shellfish allergy.

How severe is your shellfish allergy? Can you not have it in the air, or is it you eating/cross contamination? If it's air, it might be an issue as the tables can have it for different diners, and the neighbor restaurant does sushi. If it's the other, they'll cook yours before/after so it doesn't touch/cross.

Last July we sat with a group of people and 1 person had an allergy. They cooked everything except the prawns, and cooked them last.

Thanks. It's not airborne or anything. I've only had reactions when I've actually consumed shellfish (shrimp and crab). Sounds like Teppan Edo could work for us. :) Thanks again!
