Teppan Edo and the rice?

I made another change to my TS meals. I have now added Teppan Edo. I for the first time in my 36 years went to a Japanese Rest. last Thurs. O my!!!! How wonderful!!! The food was awesome and the guy cooking for us was even more wonderful. I could not believe that I had never done this before. I was very glad that I had added Teppan Edo during our March trip. This is my issue. I have read that the rice is not stir fried rice. I saw somewhere that it is plain sticky white rice. Is this true? The fried rice that I had the other night is what I enjoyed the most. How is the other food? I will probably order shrimp. Steak would be my second choice. I guess I could do the combination of both.

Anyone? I am beginning to think that maybe this resturant is not that popular. Any reviews are welcome.

Yes, it is plain white sticky rice.

I happened to really enjoy Teppan Edo when we went in December. I think the rice was the least exciting part of the meal. They also cook up noodles in addition to the veggies and meat and these were better than the rice, IMO. Oh, and as I recommend to everyone, please make sure and get the edamame app. It is out of this world yummy!!!!

Just wanted to say that fried rice is not Japanese.... its Chinese. Maybe its just me but I love love the sticky white rice....
