The trip is for our grandkids - 5 adults - 3 boys 9,8,6 -1 infant
November 11 through November 18. Animal Kingdom day is Wednesday Nov. 15

This is my tentative plan for AK :

I am hoping for FP+ for FOP, EE and Dinosaur for mid afternoon and we have Tusker House ADR for 10:30.

Arrive by 8:30 and head to Africa - do Safari, FOTLK before breakfast, if time permits we'll do the gorilla trail.
Breakfast 10:30-11:30

* This part depends on the order of FPs *

Jungle trek
Head to EE (2 child swaps here - baby and 6yo too short)
Take 6yo to the boneyard to play til the others are done with EE
Ride Dinosaur (another child swap) and do whatever they want at Chester & Hesters
ITTBAB
Head to Pandora for (hopefully) FOP (and yet another child swap - gotta love that baby!!) and Na'vi standby if time permits

Use the child swap passes as much as possible and be done by 5pm? We will be going to MK for our only night to see HEA that evening.

What do you think?

c'mon! I've got no one at home to bounce this stuff off of!!!

Our 3 and 8 year old grandchildren couldn't do an 8.30 arrival and then head over to MK at 5 pm we would have to head back for supper and a movie or game before bed but you know your own littlies and I know others do!

Thanks for the "Grandparent" input. I think the 9 and 8 year old could go forever. The 6 year old, maybe - maybe not. We will have enough adults to split up as necessary. I am planning nighttime stuff as TBD based on how everyone feels. Me? I am opening to closing every day!!!!

You go just after us! We are on countdown- 8 weeks today we'll be there. My DGS (8) has a number of special needs and his hypermobility does wear him out quicker than most of his friends so maybe the older ones will power on with you. I'm just firming up our plans then will be able to concentrate on some little presents to leave in their room each day - can't wait!

We are taking my son, daughter-in-law and grandkids and my daughter who lives in Kissimmee and works for Universal will join us there. The three monkeys in my avatar are about 4 years older now and very excited about the trip! I am even more so. It would be quite some time before their parents would be able to manage a trip for them so my husband and I are doing it now while they are still young. Cannot wait!!!!!

Just a thought, FOTLK may not have a show before your breakfast time. Some days the first show isn't in to 11:00, and even a 10:00 show may be a problem with your 10:30 reservation.

Good to know! Then perhaps we will do both trails instead and move FOTLK to right after Tusker House. Thank you!

Given their proximity, you don't think we could do the Safari at opening - see the 10AM (there will be one) FOTLK show and get to Tusker House for our reservation? It's actually for 10:35.
