Anyone know of a nice place to tent camp near DLR?

We don't mind an RV park that takes tents.

Thanks! I found some that are close by. I guess I should have asked for recommendations LOL

We actually live less than an hour from there but think it might be fun to camp nearby and go DLR every day and swim etc. but on the cheap! Hard to justify a hotel cost when we are less than an hour away and we have AP's :cool1:

I'd like to know as well. Well, for a travel trailer anyways.

It would be cool to camp our way down to Disney!!

I'll have to check out that link.

Please do post a review. I also am a tenter and would love somewhere to stay once in a while. Clean bathrooms with hot showers are a must! Good luck and enjoy your trip.

When I went to Disneyland back in '95 there was a Disney owned RV-park that I'm pretty sure also accepted regular tent camps. It had a pool and was owned by Disney. I haven't really been able to find it again though. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Maybe it no longer exists, I kinda have a feeling they removed it to make Downtown Disney....thoughts?

IF it's still around, the only downside I can remember is, it was a LONG walk to the park. I mean, I was 10 years old and maybe I was just flippin impatient, but I remember by the end of the day I was wanting to camp out on the sidewalk outsied the park rather than make the long trek back to our RV.
