My son and I are interested in playing tennis when we visit SSR for the first time in April - a couple of questions: Does it cost anything to play? Do you need to reserve times? If so, is it difficult to find a time to use the courts? :scratchin

Thanks!

The tennis courts are first come basis and you can check out equipment at the Community Hall for free.

The courts are very nice and well kept. I don't play but Dh does and he was very impressed with the courts.

They never appeared to be really busy, but over the Christmas break, I noticed increased use over previous visits.

The tennis courts are located in the Sports Court area and adjacent to the shuffleboard court and basketball courts (equip. also at CH for free) if those other activities interest you.

We really enjoy shuffleboard so we spent alot of time in that area.

I think the best part about owning DVC is that we have time to "stop and play shuffleboard" and enjoy other leisure activities at the resorts that so many people just glance over.

Thanks for the info! It's good to know that we don't necessarily need to bring our own equipment with us...although we probably will. :goodvibes
