Tempting, very tempting...HOJO's vs PPH

Of course. I'll be happy to report back, with pictures and everything. :thumbsup2

I'm really curious about the noise factor as well and if I'll be able to hear noise from the highway in the room. I plan to take some pictures of the view as well, so people can get an idea of what they will be looking at on the highway side of the building.

The walk.....well, I've stayed at the HOJO many many times. It's about a 10 minute walk, although after a full day at the parks, at the end of the day it can feel like a death march.

We usually go during slower times in the year when Disneyland has shorter hours, so we've never taken mid-day breaks. I know that many people who have stayed at the HOJO do walk back for mid-day breaks, so it must not be too bad considering all the walking a person does in the parks anyway. I guess what I'm saying is, what's an additional 20 minutes of walking when you've been walking all day anyway, if that makes sense. :goodvibes

About the bolded text above - that is exactly what I think about the PPH, coincidentally, and is usually what I say to the people who think PPH is sooooooo far away (when we know it really isn't). At the end of a long day, just walking (limping...crawling.....:rotfl:) across Disneyland Drive to the PPH can seem daunting, but in reality, it is all a matter of perception. Because, when you think about it, many of us walk an average of 9 miles in a single day at DLR (there was a recent thread here with numbers from people's pedometers), so how much are the extra footsteps across the street to the PPH actually going to make it worse? Not much, if at all. I am sure it breaks down to the same idea for HoJo's.

I have never read a bad review about PPH or Hojos.
I myself have never stayed at either, but I do have friends that have stayed at PPH and they LOVED it!
Also, after reading all the reviews for HOJO's I would definately be comfortable booking a room there too.
If It were my $, and my choice, I would pay the extra $200 for PPH and stay on site. That way you can use the service to take your souvenirs to the hotel. We used that service at WDW and it was Awesome!
When we go to Disneyland, we have to take our stuff back to the car. :(

Either way, Disney is still Disney and its going to Magical none the less...
