Just curious as to how many of you have been tempted to sin in the same way I was. When I go next my son would have just turned 3, and the thought crossed my mind to say he was still 2. (I know, slap my hands with the ruler now) I couldn't bring myself to cheat the happiest place on earth. Just wondering how many of you have been tempted or have sinned. Sean

Crazy4: I realize you're new to the board, and your question is an interesting one. But I guess someone should warn you that this topic usually pops up once every few weeks and inevitably there is an ethics war between Saints and Sinners, and then the mods shut the thread down because it is a board no-no to advocate a breach of Disney policy.

Death, taxes, and varying opinions on fudging your kids' age. These are the three inevitabilities of life. ;)

We did it last year for my sister... she was ten... we said she was nine. We kind of felt that Disney was making enough money off of us.... I say do it.

I asked kind of this same question not too long ago and got flamed for it. Oh well. Some people here will say that they absolutely never even thought to do this. Personally, the thought has crossed my mind and I am not going to disclose what conclusion I came up with.

...be prepared for the high moral majority to jump ALL over this thread.........

great... I guess I was quick to answer. [/QUOTE]

Not AT ALL.......at least you were being honest what you did. For the record, I did the same thing with my son a few years ago. We took the trip in March, and he just turned 3, so I saved a couple bucks.....

Guess I'm going to Disney Hell. lol. I'll have alot of company though.

The thought did cross my mind when ds was about to be 10, Oh wait they still think he is 8 :teeth: Seriously though some people have at least thought about it and that doesn't make us criminals but I am already going to hades because my mousekeeper told us to keep a towel animal and I did :scared:

You'll get the standard what if they ask your child at the gate how old they are? Are you going to teach your child to lie? Of course not and that's why I didn't do it but I have to admit sometimes I have less that pure thoughts

I have never done it, but have been happy when a scheduled trip comes before a birthday. This is my last year with a 9 year old. I think the harder jump is free to a child ticket. A child to an adult ticket is not that much, plus the child would know what you were doing.

Oh no!!!! mousekeeping told me to keep a towel animal too. Is that a SIN!!!! I'm going down.

My kids were bursting at the seams to get there, so I went 50 mph in the 45 mph zone on the drive into MK's main lot. I can feel the hounds of hell feasting on my entrails already.

:thumbsup2 If you are okay doing it, don't ask and don't worry. Have I ever done this? Going for the past 13 years with 1 then 2 then 3 then 4&5 kids---I'll never tell :teeth:

:thumbsup2 But for your info since you are new--- the hairs on the backs of the lovers of the mouse will rise up if you ask in any way to cheat on him(remember he has every right to charge $50.oo a hot dog if he wants :rotfl2: )
Stay away from the following:
Can I sneak an extra person in my 4 person room? :furious:
Do I need a car seat for a child under 2 on an airplane? :rolleyes1
Can I bring a 2 day old infant to the parks? :sad2:
Should I use a stroller the size of a volkswagon? :rotfl:
Any kind of line jumping or who gets to stand where to watch a parade :confused3
pool hopping :smooth:
using mugs from another resort ;)
This is a great place to find info--just have fun :p

Well rejobako, you tried to warn them. Discussing ways to get around Disney rules is against the policies of this board not to mention these threads 99.9% of the time turn ugly.

..........and here we go, as this thread now takes a downward spiral.

Oh, I dunno, Boxer. All lagunaseca was doing is suggesting, like I did, that these threads usually have a short but interesting lifespan because of the way the topic polarizes people. The "downward spiral" starts when the labels start flying -- "you're a liar and a bad parent". "No, you're an elitist hypocrite". LOL. Me, I'm just a miserable fence-sitting moderate. I can see both sides of the issue, but I'll take to my grave which side I'd ultimately fall on. ;)

Thank you. I feel the same way.

I'm just joking around...........its not even a question of choosing/being on 'sides' or anything. I don't care what ANYONE does--that is their business. What annoys me is when people come on here and downgrade others for the choices THEY made.

If everyone would just remember that how other people live their lives and raise their kids is their OWN business, everyone would get along much better.
