Wondering if people could tell me what the average temps are at the end of April? Also do you think the crowds will be lower then with spring breaks mostly being over?

The end of April is my very favorite time at the world.

The weather has always been awsome: high 70's to mid 80's and NO rain.

The crowds are equally as awesome.

Just make sure that Easter is NO where near your April dates.

We are looking at the last week of April so Easter will be over and we are hoping many of the spring breakers will be done.

We went this year from 4/26-5/3. We were in Naples, Fl the first half, and Disney the second. It was beautiful! Mid 80's and the humidity was low. Crowds were definately busy (and Easter was super early this year) but not bad. At MK, the waits were no more then 5-10 minutes for kid rides 20+ for more popular rides like Space Mountain. I would definately recommend this time of year (not sure how much it would be different when Easter falls later)

We were in Disney from April 10-20 this year. The weather through the days was pretty good with the exception of one day of rain. (Main Street Barber Mike said that it was needed and therefore we were not allowed to complain if the gel ran out of the girls hair!! :)) The evenings we all found a little cool. The crowds were mostly 7&8's. We are going this coming April 22-May 6, the crowd numbers look lower and I am hoping that the temperature numbers look higher!!

We were there this year from Apr 26 to May 5 and the weather was really lovely. Not too hot (in the 80's), not much rain, and not that humid. We did find the parks to be fairly crowded but not too bad. I would definitely go back at this time of the year again.

On the day we arrived it was a Grad Nite so there was lots of activity at the hotel. While I think they close down one of the parks early for Grad Nites --- there was no impact otherwise.

The only thing I wish we had done is make a few ADR's since most of the sit down restaurants we wanted to go to were really busy at lunch and dinner. Since we were staying in the villas (split stay between BWV/BCV) we were able to go back to the room and make something when we weren't able to get tables.

We were there from April 26 through May 2 and found everything was awesome. We never waited in line once (not even for Nemo, which usually has long lines) and the weather was great. It was raining while we waited for the Fantasmic show Monday night, but not too bad.

I hope the next trip we make will have the same experience in terms of weather, crowds, etc. Someone posted from that same time period and thought the parks were sorta busy - we must have been in different places each day.

WAIT! One time we waited 5 minutes for Aladdin's Magic Carpets. DH was a little bummed out ... and when we went to the Monsters, Inc. show we did have to "wait" as the people walked into the theatre.

Perfect time to go, IMO!

We went towards the last of April in 2006, came home like May 3rd (I think).

There were days that were hot & days that you broke out into a sweat in the shade w/a breeze. And at night I needed to be in capri's & a jacket. Maybe it was because I got burnt all day????:confused3 and yes I put on sunscreen!

And the crowds were high, but I am told they weren't bad by others that were there. That was our 1st trip to WDW - there were lines that were over 1 hour & some that were only 20 minutes. But if that isn't crowded - I would hate to see crowded! It was still shoulder to shoulder people & the parades/fireworks, etc were packed & you still had to get a seat 30+ minutes before hand.

Just my experience....

Have a great trip;)

We were there from Sun 4/27 to Fri 5/2. Temps were great, mid to high 80's in the daytime. We wore shorts, tshirt every day. Only 1 morning was chilly in shorts for 8am ADRs. Might need very light jacket at night.

There were light crowds IMO. Early EMHs were minimal to no waits. More people started coming in around 11am to 3pm, but still fairly light (compared to July).

We chose that week because it was the last few days of April, hoping to miss all the school spring breaks on full weeks earlier. I would avoid Easter if you can. Great time to go. The GF seemed empty.

We were there this past April 25-May 4th. We found the weather AWESOME. Mid to low 80's, sunny, and very comfy. Crowds were also great. I think the longest we waited for anything was 15 minutes, with most things being walk on. We fast passed Soarin and Test Track and waited about five minutes for those rides!!!! Character lines were also very short. Maybe 5 minutes max, usually only three or four people in front of us. GREAT time to go if you ask me!!

We went the last full week of April 2006 and the crowds were light and the weather was fantastic, beautiful-so beautiful that every so often I'd sit on a bench and skip a ride while my husband took the kids on, just so I could enjoy the weather.
