Tempers, do you have one?

Some people have a short fuse and it blows out fast. Other's have a long fuse and it takes a long while to get over.

Which one are you, and what triggers it?

I have a long fuse but in ways I wish I didn't. I let things build up and then I blow up. I think it would be better to confront things when they happened instead of letting them build and build and then have a big blow up. Usually that blow up happens around a certain time of the month so it is even worse!

I have a long fuse but humiliation shortens that fuse considerably.

I have a terribly bad habit of holding a grudge but I'm working on that, I don't like being that way

Depends on the circumstances.. Sometimes I let things build and build - for days, weeks, months - and then I blow up..

Other times - especially when I'm terribly stressed - I blow up quite easily..

The only person who NEVER suffers my wrath is my granddaughter.. I'll bite my tongue off if I have to! LOL

One more question, do you control it well?

I'm one with a long fuse in most circumstances. Short fuse in others. Most of the time it builds up until I go off and most of the time, by that time I make no sense.
Most of the time I can control it. Rather than scream and hollar about it, I want to prevent it from happening again.
I know controlling my temper sure helps at work. The problem is my eyes give me away. So, I've got to be careful.

I don't know... I think it's somewhere in between for me. When it blows though, you don't want to be in the vicinity.

What triggers it? Malicious intent, injustice and anyone that hurts my loved ones.

It takes a lot to make me mad. I tend to be one of the internal simmering types. Not good in the long run.

Depends on who I'm dealing with--usually its long.

I've got this 2mm fuse at work with clients who try to cross me. One of my workers at work has burned her fuse all the way down; there's no going back.

The fuse is very short with spoiled kids, but very very long with animals. Put it all together, though, and I can even get annoyed with the animals.
