Temperature at Disney Table Service Restaurants

I know this may be a stupid question but will ask anyway. How is the temperature inside the Disney table service restaurants?. I know the AC is on but is it cold where as I would need to bring a sweater for me or the kids ...we are going in late august?

We went last July and it was pretty hot down in Orlando. I am usually cold in the AC but I did not feel like I needed a sweater in any of the TS restaurants. We ate in Liberty Tree Tavern, Biergarten, Hollywood & Vine, 1900 Park Fare, Boma, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. For most meals I was wearing a tank top and shorts, otherwise a t-shirt and shorts and I was fine. Don't think you would need a sweater in the summertime. My kids were also fine, also in tank tops and shorts or t-shirts and shorts.

We were usually fine. The only time it was a problem was when it rained and we had to go into a very chilly building after getting wet!

Never felt that the TS restaurants were too cold. We actually enjoy the AC after being outside most of the day.

The one and only time that I wished that I did have a sweater in July was when we ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern. It was freezing in the back near the kitchen. I didn't even enjoy my meal. Also had my DD on my lap to keep her warm becasue she was soooo cold.

I agree. Most of the time the AC felt good. Except when you get wet. DH and I can handle a chill but DD(6) got cold a few times and wished she had a sweater.

I always get cold too, but you get soooo hot walking around, that it took our whole meal to cool me down then at the end I would start getting chilly, but we were about to leave anyway so I didn't find it enough time to justify carrying a jacket.

I am always, always cold so I have to bring a sweater to all restaurants in Disney, but I think I am an exception. If you are like me and always cold in blasted a/c, bring a sweater. Otherwise, you'll probably be fine.

It's a relief to walk into the restaurant after being in the heat but then it just feels cold. I always keep a light zip-up hoodie with me and wear it in the restaurants.

We froze at Mama Melrose 2 years ago. That's the only time I remember being really uncomfortable. I'm generally not willing to cart around a sweater all day in 95 degree heat, so I just tolerate the A/C wherever I go.
If you are almost always cold in restaurants, it may be worth it to carry something with you, especially if you have a stroller which makes it easy.

Two summers ago when we went I took along a very, very lightweight button down 3/4 sleeve shirt. It was so lightweight that I could fold it up to about the size of one of the packable ponchos...maybe smaller. I kept that in my bag and pulled it out when I needed it in the restaurants, since I usually did get cold by the end of the meal. I will do the same this August. It also came in handy one day when we were in the sun for a length of time, since I burn really quickly, even with sunscreen.
