Both of you's should just focus on being friends with people and being happy.

Most relationships at that age don't really end up going anywhere anyway so it would be pointless to be bummed out if things didn't work out.

I've never rode an airplane, but I'm mildly claustrophobic.
And I went to disney a couple months ago...
I don't think I'll ever be able to go to Italy again.
But I know I'll be able to go to disney again.
