Yup, google c to f LOLDoes anyone know a trick to convert F to C in your head quick. I don't need to be exact just something you can do to convert in the ballpark. I don't know what 60F or 70F feels like or how to dress for it.

I always double and add 30......it's an estimate.
Double and add 32.

Yup, google c to f LOL
60=15.5C
70=21.something
Warm enough for me to be in a t shirt![]()
Subtract 32 and divide by 2. The number get will be a little low since 5/9 instead of 1/2. For example 72 F is really 22 C but this formula gives you 20 C. Close enough for choosing clothes.
It would be a whole lot easier if the US would just convert to the metric system!
On the negative side, I know -18C is 0F and -40C is -40F.
That is what I do as well.. it gets it within a degree or 2 an it is usually pretty darn close.. The accuweather.com has been up and down for our dates hasn't it Chris? I wonder what to believe. I guess we just pack for all different weather.
. I hope it will be similar to last year, mid to high 20's during the day and low to mid teens at night.Me too.I always double and add 30......it's an estimate.

Have a safe drive Csaks! I see you are staying at CSR. We will be there beginning on the 9th. We are at Pop for the first 5 nights.
. Thanks for the well wishes.Now that this thread has me thinking about it, I'm more aware/comfortable with American temperatures than Canadian ones. I guess cause the only time in my life I've paid attention to the weather forecast is when traveling.
In fact I always forget which is celsius and which isn't. I think of them as the "high number" and the "low number." (Yeah, that's right, I was quite the math and science whiz in high school. Real brain box.)
I also measure everything in feet and inches and yards, but then everybody I know does that. (Only exception: kilometres.)

I always double and add 30......it's an estimate.
