Around 2 years ago, we didn't go to EPCOT, but I wanted wine that I had tasted there before in Italy. I was allowed to buy a 1 day park pass to go in and shop for ONE hour and I had to come back and have it refunded or it would be a full day ticket. I was wondering if Disney would give like a 2-2.5 hr park pass so we could go eat at a restaurant in a park? I have ALWAYS wanted to eat at Marrakkesh, but didn't get to go last time and we don't go to EPCOT every year. If anyone knows anything, please let me know. I don't think we can get dinner done in 1 hour (we have a 2 yr old and although she eats at the speed of light :rotfl: the clean up alone takes 10-15 mins!). If they don't do it, they SHOULD!!! I'd love to try some of the other restaurants in EPCOT too (and there are many), but we don't go there every single year, but I'd still like to be able to try the restaurants out.

WDW doesn't even off the 1 hour shopping option anymore. If you want to eat at any restaurant in Epcot, you'll need to pay for a day ticket.

Because they fill most of the restaurants without a problem with people who are willing to pay for tickets. It doesn't add anything in margin to put you in a seat that would be occupied anyway, and its detrimental to the paid guest experience - even if they only took walkups - a paid guest not being able to walk in while a guest on a "dinner pass" getting to eat would make the paid guests cranky.

Oh, and I think the shopping thing was being abused. People would end up staying for two hours and then complaining of crowds or long lines. They can't track you when you are in the park, so they don't know if you ran in and out, or if you picked up a pin at Mouseears and did the single rider line on Mission:Space.

I can defintely understand that, but how would they know? I am sure it's a lot of hassle for WDW to do it, I guess it'll have to wait until next time we go to EPCOT. Are there any Morrocan type restaurants in the Orlando area?

Do you have a Park Hopper for The other days You are there if you Have a Park Hopper Passs you can Hop in and than Hop out.

Now if your doing everything you are doing in single Day tickets than thats not an option.

My suggestion just buy a Park hopper ticket and than hop over one evening for dinner than hop back to Whereever you want if you dont want to do the rest of epcot

That's a SUPER idea! We are only doing 1 park this year (AK) since we are doing the cruise too. But we have been thinking of buying a 4 or 5 day Pass (that never expires) for future visits as well. SO if we do that, we can go to the AK and in the same day do Marrekkesh for dinner! Thanks for the suggestion! And congratualtions on your upcoming wedding! Hope all goes smoothly for you! :goodvibes

Thank you Im so excited
Hope you enjoy the Criuse is it disney I did one they are increadible enjoy castaway Cay its waters are amazing

Yep..it's the 3 Night Cruise. I have heard a lot of CC and am really looking forward to it! I've been to Hawaii before and that was amazing too..so if the waters are like that I'll be in Heaven! We hope to go on a 7 night cruise in 2007. I'd also like to go back to Hawaii..someday..maybe for our 15th or 20th anniv. We were married 10 years this past Oct. and boy...it flies by. Enjoy every moment! Are you getting married at WDW? That would be awesome. I would love for my 2 DD's to get married there..though it would have to be a small wedding..but any size wedding at WDW is magical!

I wish it were in WDW but no we cant afford it so were getting married in his parents yard we are Honeymooning in WDW thou Cant wait a combination honeymoon and family vacation with his Parents (we live with them right now) they are wonderful people

Yes the Waters are incredible I did a four Day and went to Nassau and Freeport and loved Castaway Cay the Best.

Thanks again for the well wishes And I wish you a wonderful cruise.

Marrakesh, IMO, is worth the price of admission alone!

I second the idea to get a PH pass. If you do AK in the AM, you can go over to Epcot for dinner at night.

ITA!

I agree with the Hopper option as well. It's definitely worth it. Evening/night is the best time at Epcot for me.

Try to time it so you are finishing up dinner in time to get a good viewing spot for IllumiNations. It's a great way to end a night. :sunny:
