Tell us about your day?

Went to work. Still sitting here playing around on the internet, answering emails, and typing invoices.

Today? Woke up, took medication, made coffee, ate breakfast. Laid in bed for a few hours watching TV. Got up and now sitting on the couch & watching TV. Sick & can't be too active because it drains me. Have to go back to work tomorrow, hopefully I can make it through the entire day.

Sat down in my dining room to start work, did some daily stuff, had 1.5 hour training, then a one hour interview for a promotion, ate some lunch, had a 1 hour “bot” testing meeting, another 1 hour meeting for Lean training wrap up, another 30 min call with a co worker to walk her through something and now I’m just wasting time for the next hour. I did daily stuff in between meetings or while in them when I didn’t need to be paying attention.

Woke up with BPPV and my bed was spinning in circles. I've had it before so knew what it was and how to deal with it. I also had a splitting headache and was sick at my stomach. I made my way into the living room where hubby made me a cup of tea for my tummy. I sat there reading for awhile and then made a piece of toast. Then off to bed to try to nap (didn't work that darn bed was spinning) so I've been sitting in bed most of the day. After lunch hubby did Epley on me and since then I've been sitting in bed with a travel pillow around my neck to keep me from turning my head down. I have to work tomorrow so hoping it worked, I think it did because I can get in and out of the bed without having to sit on the side for a minute and the bed didn't spin at all during the last part of the Epley.

Trimmed branches on my neighbor's tree that hang over the property line and drop leaves in my rain gutters. Walked two miles. Watching a 50 year old rerun of Adam 12.

Worked out
Ran some errands
Went to work (still there)
Leaving soon to go home and make dinner

Did my walking, played my daily brain games, ate breakfast, went to Costco, ate lunch, cleaned out some drawers, watched TV, read emails, read the DIS, sorted through some vacation pictures
Next will be making dinner and watching TV

We are down a car, and lemme tell ya, working on somone else's schedule stinks. Up at 5:45, out of the house by 7:15. Early to work, so I finished the chemical inventory and all the paperwork that goes with it. Answered student email and set up my absent sheet; 3 more this morning with covid. I got all the chemicals into the labs, taught lab for almost 4 hours. Cleaned up and restocked for tomorrow. Somewhere in there I held a TA meeting, too. I am exhausted but still at work, as DH isn't done yet. He was on the road for a site visit all day (so he had the car) and has some stuff to finish up before we can go home. I've been here 11 hours, not sure how much longer... or how much more I can stand. I don't have any idea of what supper will be, and at this point I don't really care. I just want to curl up on my bed and go to sleep.

Up at 6:30 this morning, did some stuff on the computer until about 11 a.m. I went into our finished basement where I have my crafts table set up and did some pattern making for the costume I'm sewing for the Barbie I'm customizing. Made up the bodice in my practice cotton to see how it fit the doll, needs some adjusting in the shoulders. I was down there until around 4.

Texted back and forth with my sister throughout the day, me checking up on her because she had surgery a few days ago.

Now I'm up here playing around until dinnertime. We're ordering cheesesteaks Mmm.

Got up. Fed the rabbit his morning greens. Went to work. Came home. Gave the rabbit a treat. Talked to both DSs. Made a snack. Sat down on the couch to eat it and watch the news. Defended my snack from the nosy rabbit. Gave the rabbit more hay to distract him from my snack. Currently anticipating the rabbit's next demand.

:furious: Had an uncharacteristic nuclear melt-down over a source of ongoing frustration before I left the house this morning. It pointed to a deeper issue that really should no longer be ignored and after some reflection, I made arrangements to deal with it head-on with the parties involved. Not super-excited about our upcoming Zoom meeting after supper but it must be done. In this particular group of people who I believe cause themselves and others much misery by stuffing their feelings and brushing issues under the rug; I should be the first to set an example, so here we go. Wish me luck.

Luck and Calming vibes ur way!

Called the doctor's office about a prescription they wrote wrong and waited much of the day for a call back.
At least it was fixed.
I also shoveled A LOT.

I work in a manufacturing plant. I don't have enough pixels on my screen to type out how my day was, LOL.

Worked through lunch and worked 90 minutes late because the IT guys decided that security updates they failed to install warranted disabling my computer. By the time they got me online again I had 3 different fires to put out. You know, a normal workday at my office.
