I want to know what your fav foods are at the fort and what your favorite speciality drinks are if you have one (doesnt have to just be from crockett's...anywhere in Dis ) ? :) The pics of those yummy looking mudslides got me thinking !

The fried chicken from the Trails End to go is the best. The cinnamon rolls from there that we get for breakfast are very good also.

mmmm cinammon rolls sound great for a quick breakfast. I plan to go down in the early AM most days to get coffee (and now a cinammon roll) and wake up with the wildlife and the smells of FW :)

I would have to second the chicken. My favorite drink is KUNGALOOSH! at the Adventurer's Club at Pleasure Island.

Shakes at 50's prime time and fried chicken at Crocketts or HDDR (same thing)

MMMMMMMMMMMM I can feel my fat cells crying out right now :lmao:

Definitely the Fried Chicken!!!

Also - love the Hot Italian Sandwich at AK's Pizzafari.

Chicken Parmesian at Port Orleans.

Best Buffet??? Cape May!! :cool1:

They used to do a hot open face turkey sandwich special on Saturday nites at the snack bar at Wild Lodge - miss that! Oh...and the baked potatoes they used to serve at the snack bar at Grand Floridian.:sad1:

Kungaloosh at my campsite

Pot roast at 50's prime time

Rotissiere Chicken at Cosmic Rays

Hot dog at Casey's

Pineapple macadamia nut pancakes at Kona Cafe

Kona coffee at Kona Cafe

Barbeque at Flame Tree

Dole whip float at MK

Anything on the Buffet at Biergarten

Dark beer at Biergarten

Cheese soup at Le Cellier

Chili and cornbread at TE

Breakfast at TE (anything on the buffet)

Yeah. What he said.

According to my better half,

Polynesian bar has a Wasabe Bloody Mary that is very good.

Crockett's Tavern Bloody Mary is also tasty she says. It is a "free pour" mix meaning no jigger to measure (just glug, glug, glug). Nice touch. I am not a fan of the pre-mix/measure.

I am a simple beer drinker and prefer the offerings at Germany & UK pavillions. I am big into Weiss-bier & Lagers as a general rule. I heard the Mexico pavillion now has a Tequila shot bar now. May have to try this.

Best food deal at FW, IMHO, is the "to-go" breakfast at TE. If you fill up the container completely, I easily feed myself, DW & DS 6. Not "pig stuffed" mind you, but full enough to hit the parks and go-go-gadget until lunch anyways.

Wow, they actually have a Tequila shot bar now? I'm not a fan of Tequila, but I have a feeling that might get rather popular.

Heck, the somewhat new margarita bar right outside Mexico is CONSTANTLY packed every time we go!

There was a LOT of tequila involved the night I met my wife. I found out later through some research that every bottle of tequila has the flu virus in it.
:rolleyes1

1 Tequila, 2 Tequila, 3 Tequila- FLOOR!

:rotfl2:

Been there, done that. Got the T-shirt.
