I have reservations for my 6 and 4 y.o. daughters. I'm wondering if it's worth it - we're doing the middle package. Will likely buy the photo package as well. How long should I set aside for this? We have 6pm adrs at 1900 park fare and 1:30 reservations at BBB. If you have any photos from the photo package they do I'd love to see them as well...

Thanks!

i will try to remember to post after I receive my photopass dvd, but here are a couple we've taken of DD (ariel-feb 07, tink-feb 08)

the photo shoot is nice, especially if you get a good photographer.

I am so sorry....I didn't think to answer your other questions...too excited about posting pics, I guess.

I would plan on an hour at the makeover. you will then walk to guest relations for the photo shoot. you might have to wait a bit for a photographer.....and then they will take pics...maybe 15 minutes. You should be fine for your ADRs at 6 pm!

We opted to not do the photo package. We were there for about 45 minutes or so with check in. It was I think the most magical experience of the entire trip for my 6 year old daughter. I think the 1:30 appt and the 6 pm dinner will allow plenty of time between the 2 destinations. The attention that your little ones get all day long is just adorable also. I dont normally post pics of the kids but they are cute as I am sure every other little ones are!

This was my DD (as you can tell she loves how she looks!). She did the middle package with the nails. We did it for MNSSHP in the castle around 2pm. We did not do the photo package, we just pre-ordered the photopass cd. We would do it again, the fairy god mothers in training were wonderful, they chatted her up the whole time. She felt like a real princess! :thumbsup2

The only down thing was the waiting area is small, and I know the larger room everyone wanted to see their children being glitzed up. So there wasnt much room. Dh stuck his head in with us and opted to wait out side, there just wasnt anyroom anywhere. (So I wish they would limit it to 2 people and the princess or something. I was sorry Dh was missing it when 6 adults were watching one child be done!)

Even if you don't get the photo package, you can still go get the pics taken and put on your photopass for free! We pre-ordered the CD and got the pics from BBB and the photo session done at Exposition Hall all on the CD.

yep! this is what we did!

I think it was the middle package we did two years ago too.

I think the only difference with the middle pkg is the addition of nail polish, is that right? If so, I would do the base pkg - the polish was a very, very light pink that you could barely see. I didn't think it was worth the extra money.

If I remember correctly, we were there about an hour for our appointment, maybe a little less. We weren't taken on time - I think they began about 15 minutes after our appt time.

just a quick question, do they charge your credit card when booking i was thinking about doing this for my daughter as well:confused3

princess: we did it and DD5 LOVED EVERY SECOND of it! Fairy GMoms were spectacular!!:wizard: I painted DDs nails myself the night before in POP before we went to sleep, saved a few bucks! I would definately do the BBB :lovestruc again, the

That dress is just so beautiful-- I love it!!!

Last year we decided to treat DD(8) and DS (5) to the BBB. The cool dude package for boys is cute and that way he didn't feel left out. He was a bit reluctant when all he seen was a girly envioronment but he quickly warmed up to the idea and the final result was great. We chose the middle package for DD and she had the choice for press on nails or polish. They applied the nails and gave her the extra set. She loved the experience as a whole and we will do this every chance we can. It was a great way to start a trip and give them a little boost of attention from CM's and characters.

We got the hair and nails package. We bought a Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, and Jasmin dresses from disney store for her b-day (oct 16) so they worked for halloween and she wore Belle for BBB. It was the best $45 I've ever spent!!

No they just use it for a hold and only charge it if you don't show up or cancel w/in a certain amount of time.

Do most people take their own dresses? Or do you do the full package that includes the dress?

We have done BBB three times twice we brought our own dress and once dd did the castle package but that was a bday present to her.

To the OP and anyone else interested you can click the link in my sig which contains almost 200 pages of photos and questions. Two of the dissers who have posted their pics here also have pics on the thread. You will also find on page 185+/- a couple of pages a current selection of the dresses in disney the prices are also listed but I don't remember what page I posted them on but I do remember the date (2/8/2008).

We did the cheapest pkg possible and I polished her nails myself - I bought a CUSTOM MADE amazing Aurora dress from someone on the Disboutiquers board for halloween and we wore it a few times while at WDW, The custom dress was breathtaking and everyone who saw it complimented it! Its spectacular! Go over to the disboutiquers board and ask about customs, theyre VERY friendly, helpful and AMAZING seamstress' over there. I adore the dress, its sooooooooo beautiful and truly well made.:lovestruc PM me for the makers name, I have to check with her before I just post it.:3dglasses

Question about the photos--

We are doing the middle package in May for my daughter. I would love to do the photopackage, but we are already prepurchasing the photopass CD. It sounds like I can take her for the photos and they can add them to the CD?

Can someone explain how/where to go for this & what to do? Also, we have our BBB appt. at 11am (I'm planning on showing up early hoping they can get us in just a bit ahead of time) and our CRT reservation at noon...can we do the photos AFTER the lunch?

TIA

You can do the photoshoot after eating at CRT and they will be on you photopass cd and you do NOT have to buy prints while you are there. I am assuming you are going to the MK location the photo shoot area is in the front at exposition hall.

ETA~ I would keep trying for an earlier appointment at least half an hour in case they are running behind b/c they do do that sometimes.
