Just wanted to say I've never eaten here until recently. And I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it! Chef Ken was amazing! I have a dairy allergy and ordered the Vegetarian Sandwich - Fresh mozzarella, hummus, basil pesto, cucumber, roasted red pepper, tomato, and lettuce on freshly baked focaccia minus the mozzarella. It was so good! Chef Ken even let me have some of the homemade chips AND fries because I couldn't decide. Overall I loved the chips over the fries. My friend had the ruben and it was huge she couldn't finish it even though she wanted too because she said it was so good.
. I am destined to try the chicken salad when we eat there in May, then afterwards get an ice cream sundae for dessert 
Seriously, though, we do two trips a year, and the Plaza is on our list every time. Usually for lunch, although we will be on our spring break trip with the college kid next week and we are having dinner there on Sunday night. The menu runs to sandwiches, with one or two salads. They also usually have a "special" meatloaf dinner, which is not on the menu but has been offered every time we have been in there for the last couple of years. And of course, the ice cream. Shakes are our thing, but they do old-fashioned banana splits and sundaes as well. DH loves the place so much that the photo I use on my cellphone is him, straw poised, with a Plaza shake in front of him!
