My DH & I ate there in Jan. and loved it. The grilled lemon chicken served over spinach risotto was to die for. My DD & I ate there last month (after the menu change) and it was not on the menu. I had the steak kibob and agree that it was not as good as I thought it would be. Can't remember what my DD had but I know my 2 granddaughters were tired of ordering off the children's menu (we were not on the DP) and we had a hard time with the waitress about letting us order for them otherwise. It was worked out to our satisfaction. My DH & I are going back in October and he would like to go there again so I am willing to give them another chance. :)

We ate there for the first time last month at DH's request. Yummy calamari! The shrimp linguine entree was also pretty good.

DS (22) and twin DD's (16) ate there last year and they were not impressed. Service was very slow, atmosphere was good and two of the three dishes were very undercooked (almost raw).

We still love Spoodles - esp. for breakfast (lots of unusual savory options) but it isn't as great as it was pre-DDP, but what is? There are less options and presentation isn't the same. We still enjoy the rigatoni and the shrimp appetizer. The Medi dips are lovely, too.

We have eaten here several times, but just returned from our May trip and ate there after the new menu. While I don't have anything to say bad about the place or CM, I won't be going back. The new menu just doesn't work for us. Even DH had a hard time finding something that he wanted and that is not good. I got the kabobs and was not happy with them. Too fatty and chewey. I liked the NYstrip they USE to have, but that is gone. DH agreed, no more. I came back and called dining and canceled my reservation for October. Hopefully the menu will change again and I'll try them again. It's sad since we are BWV owners and stay there at least 3 trips a year, because it was convenient. I gave it a thumbs down.

I did notice that alot of my fellow disers who posted above me plan to go back after having a good meal in the past. I would love to heard what they think of the new menu after they try it. This was truly strange for us, because never have both of us agreed that we would not go back because one of us always finds something they like.

Was fettucine alfredo still one the menu?

We just ate there a few days ago and everything was yummy!!
They don't have the alfredo anymore but the shrimp linguine is delicious! There calamari is the best I have had in a long time. Three different entrees were ordered and 2 kids meals and no complaints anywhere!! My DD2 loved there chicken noodle soup so much that when hers was gone she ate her brothers!!;)
This is DH's favorite place and is a must do on our arriving night every trip!!

Pre DDP??? have you been there recently, the menu has doubled in size in the last few months and is supposed to keep growing from what we heard last time we were there.

Last there in Jan. We saw a big difference from years before - quite a few menu items had disappeared. I hadn't heard that it was growing - I will definitely check it out in August. :) Thanks for the heads up. :wizard:

We haven't eaten there yet but have an ADR for our trip in August.

Unless the menu changes, I plan on ordering:

App: Mediterranean Dips

Entree: either Oak-fired steak kabobs or Rigatoni

Dessert: Chocolate Apricot Pistachio cake.

... and maybe a Sangria or two ... :rolleyes1

When we ate there last October, I had the Mediterranean Dips & the Chocolate Apricot Pistachio cake -- both were WONDERFUL!! The cake was one of the best desserts I had all week! And I LOVED the warm pita bread with the dips -- YUM! The entreese were different than the current menu, but DH & I both enjoyed what we got. It was one of our kids (age 8 & 5) favorite places -- even ranked higher with them than character meals! We're planning to go back this October!

Thanks bamagirl! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the items I'm planning on ordering. I've seen pics of the dips and the cake and they look soooo good! We love trying new places when we visit the world, along with a couple of old favourites (LTT and Le Cellier) which we never miss. I'll post our impressions of all when we return. :woohoo:

We have eaten here many times and always enjoyed our food. I had the salmon last year and really enjoyed it.

I gave it a thumbs up, because I like it, but I liked it better for breakfast when they had the buffet...and the best breakfast bread pudding ever baked!
