We've never been there before, but have an ADR for it on our upcoming trip.
Also, what did you eat while there? The menu sounds pretty good.

We haven't eaten there yet but have an ADR for our trip which begins Sunday! I think the menu looks great, can't wait to try the appetizers!

Same with us. We are trying it for the first time during our June trip - if I can pull the boys away from Star Wars...

We ate there a few years ago and all enjoyed our meals. I had a pasta dish and friends had steak, flat bread pizzas and veal cutlets.

We haven't eaten there yet but have an ADR for our trip in August.

Unless the menu changes, I plan on ordering:

App: Mediterranean Dips

Entree: either Oak-fired steak kabobs or Rigatoni

Dessert: Chocolate Apricot Pistachio cake.

... and maybe a Sangria or two ... :rolleyes1

Count us in as another family who has never eaten there but have an upcoming ADR...we'll be there at the end of July!

We haven't eaten there since the menu changed, but it was one of our favorite meals last October. You can also get the Sangria without alcohol on the DDP...it is a very yummy fruit punch and a nice change from soda.

We have eaten there twice, and enjoyed it both times. Don't know about the new menu though....

I just looked at my pic reviews from last September and I listed Spoodles as "best meal on the trip". I had the mediterranean dips appetizer (sooooo good), steak with horseradish drizzle and sweet potato fries, and creme brulee. We were impressed with our waiter, too.

I made an ADR for August but after looking over the menu, I changed it to The Concourse Steakhouse. There was really nothing on that menu that appealed to me.

We have eaten here several times, but just returned from our May trip and ate there after the new menu. While I don't have anything to say bad about the place or CM, I won't be going back. The new menu just doesn't work for us. Even DH had a hard time finding something that he wanted and that is not good. I got the kabobs and was not happy with them. Too fatty and chewey. I liked the NYstrip they USE to have, but that is gone. DH agreed, no more. I came back and called dining and canceled my reservation for October. Hopefully the menu will change again and I'll try them again. It's sad since we are BWV owners and stay there at least 3 trips a year, because it was convenient. I gave it a thumbs down.

I did notice that alot of my fellow disers who posted above me plan to go back after having a good meal in the past. I would love to heard what they think of the new menu after they try it. This was truly strange for us, because never have both of us agreed that we would not go back because one of us always finds something they like.

Both items are gone now.

We have not dined at Spoodles, but do have ressies for the first night of our Sept. trip. We can't wait to try it.:woohoo:

I ate there for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I really enjoyed it! I had the Margherita Flatbread for my appertizer and the Cornish Game Hen for my entree. It was so good that I didn't have room for dessert.

I so wanted to like Spoodles. But, we had a horrible meal there. It was about 3 or 4 years ago. We couldn't believe that we had been going to Disney for so many years but had never tried Spoodles. As we walked by one afternoon, it smelled so good so we made a ressie for later that evening.

YUK. That kind of sums it up.

My husband ordered a chicken dish and the chicken was so dried up - and I ordered a steak and had to send it back 3x for them to cook it medium rare. I mean it came out WELL DONE, the MEDIUM WELL and the third time it was still MEDIUM but at this point I was starving and gave up.

But, it gets worse.

My husband sent the dried up chicken back and the replacement was a little better. He ate it and that night got very sick. So needless to say, we won't ever go back.

Spoodles is awesome!

We all know that Disney Restaurants change their menu about every 6month, but the newest menu is my favorite so far! Actually, I've really enjoyed dining there since the arrival of the new chef, Tony. He has taken the Mediteranian theme to a new level! If you ever go there and can't find what you are looking for on the menu, Chef Tony will do his best to make sure you don't leave hungry.

If you are looking for the very best food inspired by the Mediterranean Coast, Spoodles is the place to go!

We loved this last year with the old menu and ate there again a few weeks ago with the new. It is very, very good.

LOVE the Mediterranean Dips :thumbsup2
