for our son's b-day
thisis what we have planned as of now

seaworld from 9-4pm
take lynxa bus to TTC
monorail back to contemporay
chef mickeys at 5:40
cirque du solei at 9pm

now how reasonable does this sound?
should i do breakfast at CM around 7 ish in the morning
then head to seaworld till 6pm
back to ASMo to "relax" OR just go straight to DTD and get dinner there
then cirque at 9pm ( leaving ASMo aorund 8pm?)

what sounds better?

I agree that it sounds like a very busy day. I'm not sure that many adults could hold up to that rigorous a schedule.

Sounds like a great day for him.

It will be a long day! We went to SeaWorld when we were down at WDW last week and had a wonderful time. The only thing I didn't account for was the timing of many of the shows. I had hoped to leave around 3/4 but the last show we wanted to see was at that time. Some of the shows were only twice and they were early on, so you have to see the first showing of one and the last showing of the other! So, that may make a difference if you are planning on seeing all of them!

Hope that you have a great time!

I think it sounds like a fun day (even if it is tiring), however, I think leaving at 4:00 might be up for grabs. You would just have to make sure you are open to change. Have a great time. :goodvibes

I think as long as you have a "hardy" son you'll be fine (we just got back w/ our 3 and 7 yo sons and had similar days - we were tired but fine. I think the second plan sounded more logical though (CM / Seaworld / straight to DTD.)
That way you cut down on the back and forth (which adds time and is tiring even though you're sitting...) Plus, then if you want to stay a bit later at SW you can. And you can have a REALLY relaxed, slow dinner before heading to Circ. (Plus, dinner always takes longer than you expect....and you dont want to arrive at Circ at the alst minute.) Well, my 2 cents - good luck and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Happy B-day to son! :sunny:

We just got back from our all-too-long-delayed honeymoon down at WDW (10/2-8/06) which did include 1 day at Seaworld. A bit of background...

I've been going to WDW since the Soft Openning of the Magic Kingdom in September 1971. I've been to SeaWorld both in Orlando and in California many times over the years. My wife, WeirdTigger27, had never been to Florida, much less WDW or Seaworld, before this trip.

She very much wanted to go to SeaWorld and I was happy to oblige. We went on Friday (10/6). Mind you, Seaworld is NOT cheap these days (admittedly, neither is WDW). We went, spent a decent amount of money, including $5 for food to feed the dolphins 3 fish, and afterward, felt that we'd unfortunately wasted our money.

First, Shamu's show "Believe" that they keep advertising on TV isn't running currently because of a recent birth of a baby killer whale. Next, the Dolphin show was more like 80% Cirque Du Solei, MAYBE 20% animals. This is VERY different than what I'd ever seen before with any SeaWorld show before, and really was NOT what we were in the mood for.

The park was VERY hot, very poor shade as compared to WDW, and just not very much fun for either of us.

Doesn't mean that you shouldn't go, but, wanted to let you know before you go, in case you wanted to change your mind.

Hope you enjoy your trip as much as possible! Overall, we definitely did enjoy our honeymoon.

sounds fun to me. in the time after dinner between cirque de soile (i can not spell it) get on monorail and head to mk and see what you can get done. have fun.
