Tell me what you get at Sunshine Seasons

I've had the rotisserie chicken and it was quite good. Very good flavor. My husband and son had the sandwiches and they were huge! I also thought the dessert selection was out of this world. I loved the fruit tulip and the strawberry shortcake.

I love your Brittany picture. She is my FAVORITE!

This thread is making me hungry now!

Pork chops with mashed potatoes, and carrots or rice, depending on my mood. And the strawberry shortcake is a must.

Color me different - I liked Sunshine Seasons Food Fair back in the '90s...

Gave it a shot in '08 - had something from the Asian counter (don't remember the specifics...just bad), for the dessert I was hoping to get a sugar cookie but they don't have those anymore so got a chocolate chip and it was stale.

My visits to Disney are too short and too far between these days so with counter service spots it's one strike and you're out - not wasting another meal on this spot anytime soon. Too much else to try, kwim? :confused3

Just my .02

We've eaten there several times. I've had the chicken ceasar salad, Asian stir fry, and the chicken/mashed potatoes/carrots dinner. It was all good! Just order what you'd like, and enjoy! The desserts are good, too. There is a nice variety of desserts there.

Here are a couple of photos from 8/09.

It's the only place I can get broccoli for my DS he is obsessed with it! So he gets a plate of that, we share a Turkey Sandwich on Foccacia and an ABSOLUTE MUST DO is the tomato and mozzerella salad. It's in little containers in the cold sections. Then we get a strawberry shortcake for dessert! YUMO!

It depends on my mood. That's why I live the place so much. But I usually go with something Asian.

We still like the turkey on focaccia but it was better when it was made with munster ^^

I've gotten the veggie Cuban sandwich with a side of corn and bean salad. Both were very good.

For the past couple of years the Asian station had a two entree/two side platter so I would get sweet & sour chicken and ginger beef as the entrees and rice and broccoli for the sides. This year they changed it to one entree two sides so I had to pick between the chix and beef, both of which I loved. I opted for the chicken and it wasn't good at all. Not sure if I hit a bad batch or the changed the quality but the chicken was very fatty and all dark meat. Didn't enjoy it at all.

I had the ham and salami sandwich in October. It was huge and I didn't expect to eat it all but it was so delicious that I managed to stuff it down!!!! I also had the apple flan for dessert and that was really good too!!!:thumbsup2

I also second the sandwiches. LOVED the Smoked Ham and Salami with Potato Salad as a side and DP like the Turkey and Monteray Jack. :)

We had a very bad experience with the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Two different dishes had bones in them - one of them being the child's portion. Thank God neither child swallowed one.

this became my new fave qs! i had the turkey and cheese on foccacia as the first poster replied. however i went with butterfinger cheesecake! yummiee!!! dh had chicken and rice and he said it was quite good. there are a lot of choices there. dont know why we didnt eat there before.

DH and I had some of the asian food and didnt care much for it, too much like the mall food court..ICK!

I think this time I will try the salmon..with mash potatos and rice just b/c I dont like cooked carrots..I wish they had another veggie like corn or green beans or peas I cant stand a cooked carrot they taste sweet to me!

I really liked the Asian Noodle Bowl and all of the desserts I've had: fruit tulip, asian chocolate cake, strawberry shortcake, apple flan, apple caramel cake, and both the orange and strawberry Bavarians (can't remember if that's really what they were called).

We have never had a meal there, just snacks. The strawberry shortcake is fabulous.
