Tell me what you get at Sunshine Seasons

I've been twice and I liked it. It's nice to have different options. :) Both times I've been, I had the asian food though, so I really need to try something else!

Here are a couple pictures of what we got when we went in December '09:

The strawberry shortcake was the best part. ;)

I don't have pictures from when I went in February 2009, but we noticed they changed what you get. In Feb. we were able to pick 2 main items and 2 sides (like in Pixiedust34's picture), but in Dec. we were only able to pick one main item and 2 sides. Still plenty of food, but I kinda liked being able to try 2 different items! :confused3

How are the brownies? I saw a photo of them and they looked really good, but no one has mentioned them, so maybe they aren't so great??

The brownies were very good. DD5 got one and I was able to snag a corner before she snarfed it all! Very fudgy and and chewy.

The best brownies in WDW at the Cheesecake Brownies at the Boardwalk Bakery, however. Best brownies I've ever had.

I had the Grilled Pork Chop with Veggies and it was pretty good when I was there in March.

FYI:
My DS(4) loves the Gluten Free Brownies and he is not on a Gluten Free Diet. He says they taste better than the other ones sold at WDW.

We always go there for breakfast right after picking up our FP for Soarin'-after hearing so much about the strawberry shortcake I had to have it and it was wonderful.

That is at the top of my snack list for this trip-I can't wait :cloud9:

Sunshine Seasons is one of my favorite CS in all of Disney.

I love the Spicy Cashew Chicken with Garlic Udon Noodles.

My wife likes the Turkey and Jack cheese on Foccacia.

DS16 says the Rotisserie Half Chicken is awesome.

DD10 is never happy at Sunshine Seasons. Oh well, 3 out 4 of us love it.

i really love the salmon (actually, my whole family does)! :thumbsup2 it comes with mashed potatoes and wonderful pesto! i also love the beet and goat cheese salad- goat cheese is my favorite cheese of them all! my brother also has a thing for the mac n cheese...

We found Sunshine Seasons to be hit and miss last year, but the Asian Station had only one main available and it wasnt all that memorable. Food court quality, next time well (I'll) try another station. The Strawberry Shortcake was fabulous! We had 5 desserts (3 shortcakes) split among 7 of us and we couldnt finish! The Key lime pie was a dissapointment, odd consistency for the one they serve, the Chocolate cake was very rich and moist (too rich for me).

I think the only thing that really stood out from the meal was that for what we paid, we were awfully close to having been able to have a TS lunch instead, but I can definitely see this as a great use of a CS DDP credit (as long as they dont take away the dessert from the plan!)
