Well after walking down main street in awe of the castle, and taking a million pictures, we have been advised to head for Nemo first off - so thats the plan - otherwise Peter Pan or POTC or ...... dunno, just want to absorb the atmosphere as this is my first ever trip.

Will this be your first visit to the United States? if so, WELCOME! if not, well welcome anyway! and good for you! your first visit to Disneyland, remember to go to city hall, (in DL) and ask for your first visit button, and if anyone will be celebrating their birthday, ask for a birthday button too, for birthdays, it is my understanding that you can receive a call from none other himself, that most famous and beloved doggy of all time, Goofy!
Do not forget to collect fast passes for those rides that you are interested in visiting, and of course, that have fast passes available.

I should add that we do that on the first day of our trip - just call it a ritual, we've done it for years and it's our favorite ride (sentimental). Any day after that we let the kids decide on the first ride.

the first thing I do is while going through the tunnel I close my eyes and take a deep breath and then here it comes omg yes me Im actually smiling from ear to ear and i take it super duper slow while everyone else is zooming in front of me trying to make it to their favorite ride..but I am just enjoying the ambiance and being at home

My bee line is to visit the wildest crew of buccaneers to ever set sail the seven seas, then I go to visit my most beloved Master Gracey at his mansion, that some say, is haunted. It is exactly in that order, first I go to Indy, for a fast pass, then I set sail with the pirates of the Caribbeano, (I like to add the o, sometimes, just for the fun of it) then my most beloved mansion, then back again, then I venture forth from there.

City hall! Since it will be my DS' first trip I will get a pin as Gisele mentioned. And I'm going to ask if I can upgrade our three day park hopper passes (purchased from AAA) to four day park hopper passes.

Then I am going to take lots of pictures and go wherever DS wants to!

But I suppose on my next trip, I'll first go get my "official" AP, then head over to City Hall for my birthday badge.

I love it! I think we will walk down slowly, cause we'll have youngins and just take it all in, my babies first trip to disneyland. I just can't wait. I get goosebumps. Our first ride will be peter pan as well. It will be their first ever attraction and is my mom's favorite
