We usually just bring breakfast items to eat in the hotel room before going to the parks, but I was wondering what our options may be to use snack credits for breakfast IN the parks? What have you used yours for? Was it enough to hold you till lunch? We are a family of 5....two adults, three kiddos....9,7,and 1

Most of the pastries, cinn rolls, bagels and such you find throughout the parks will be a snack credit. I would check the 2014 confirmed snack list at the top of the dining plan forum page. It will tell you where you can find them. That would be enough to hold me until an early lunch.

Sleepy Hollow - Waffle and funnel Cakes Yummy Yummy yummy
Gaston's Tavern - Cinnamon roll - Huge. I have had some really fresh ones and some that weren't too fresh but still pretty good.
Main Street Bakery - Starbucks - also has pastries that are a snack credit

Each of the Starbucks park locations have pastries/muffins and breakfast sandwiches (but I don't think the sandwiches count as a snack credit).
Any of the bakeries will have some nice options:
Kusafari in AK
Les Halles in EP (in France)
Writer's Stop or Starring Rolls in DHS

We have cupcakes from Starring Rolls in DHS and Strawberry shortcake from Sunshine Seasons in Epcot-hey it's vacation:rolleyes1

The cinnamon rolls at Gaston's are really large enough for 2 to share IMO.

Starbucks large latte, extra shot of espresso. After that, I can safely interact with the rest of the world ;-)

Les Halles Boulangerie (France - Epcot) Roulé au lard or Croissant au jambon. The Roulé au lard is full of bacon. Bacon mmmmmm!

Ive only just had this brainwave of using Snack credits for Breakfast items.

For our vacation we are on the standard DDP and are not the biggest eaters. Table service will be used for dinners and Quick Service for Lunch so what i may end up doing is bringing some cereal to OKW with us for when we get up and then the snack credits for bakery items in the park which will keep us going until Lunch.

Just means that im paying out less OOP

I know you asked for snack options in the park, but don't ignore your hotel cafeteria as an option. You can get pastries, fruit, yogurt, and a few other goodies for just a snack points. And more importantly you can get a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate which will help you feel a lot more full. If you are one of those people who like to wake up and rush to the park you can always buy a bag of trail mix and other assorted snacks using snack points at your hotel gift shop.

I want to second of off the PP---we stayed at POP and was able to grab things in the "to-go" section for breakfast and get them as snack credits--things like a muffin, or a bagel with cream cheese packet, etc. We ate those pastries either on the bus or found a nice bench inside the park. One time, we went to AK and got a big crusty muffin thing at one of the markets and ate that. I love using snack credits for breakfast. We aren't big breakfast eaters anyways, so it works out great for us. This year, we are saving all our snack credits for F&W booth offerings, so we will pay for our muffins OOP, lol.

We are not big eaters either and share our QS credits for breakfast and lunch most days. We find that we are still full from dinner and not really ready for a big breakfast. We either share the breakfast platter or get a pastry or bagel as a snack credit to share. We will share lunches also. This works well most days. Like others have said your food court in your hotel will have things you can eat for breakfast that are just a snack credit.

We tended to grab a pastry/bagel/fruit cup type snack from the hotel food court in the morning, which was generally enough to keep us going until later.
