We had our reservation for Dec 5th and 6th paid off. It was $185.96. We were able to apply an AP rate and saved $63.22.

What do they do with the excess amount already paid? We want to apply to a DDE card?

They credit it back to whatever card you used to pay with. It takes a few days sometimes... they say it can be up to 10 business days... but it's usually only a couple of days.

We didn't think to ask. Just off the phone and they left it as a credit, but have now send it back to credit card upon our request. Wouldn't let us use it towards DDE. Kind of a bummer as it is my annual pass that got us the rate, but my friend and I are sharing a stay and she put it in her name(room)

Not sure if she can now pay for DDE using my AP?

I just asked for mine to be applied as a room credit (it was about $100). I know I'll spend it when I get there.
