Tell me all about the Boardwalk Inn!

We're staying there for the first time in July. I've read through the threads but would love to hear more experiences/comments/advice about the BWI. We booked a standard room, should I be requesting any particular part of the resort or a certain floor? Have the rooms been updated or is there anything I should know?

Honestly I dont know what I can say except Congratulations! You picked a WONDERFUL resort. It is my favorite resort by far! The location, the stores, restaurants, the pool, and view are just spectacular!

I can't wait to go back!

I just came back from an AWESOME stay at BWI. The CM's were fabulous, the pool was great, the pool bar was even better and you just can't beat the location.

We love the BWI (actually, we're staying at the Villas...). It's colorful, and fun, and the theming is among the best in all The World. You will feel like you are at the Jersey Shore! It has a dash or two of elegance, too. Don't miss a chance to enjoy a rocking chair on the porch, or listen to an old radio show in the bar, or take a trip down the Luna Park slide.

Request an Epcot view. These are standard rooms, but I like them better than the Boardwalk views. You can see Spaceship Earth and the fireworks from Illuminations. I love this resort.

Honestly... I really don't like the Jersey shore *ducking from the flames* I do LOVE the Boardwalk!!!!! It's what we WISH the Jersey shore was Like

The one thing that does reflect mordern day "Jersey" is the high prices
