Tell me all about jetblue?

just got the email from jetblue :). I'm working until 5 on Sun., but I'm thinking most people will be booking the BDL-MCO flights. I'm actually going to be booking BDL-SJU, so hopefully there will still be decent seats left by the time I get home.

Are the prices really better when booked as soon as they are released?:confused3
Or is everyone just anxious to book?

Southwest was pretty expensive when their last release came out....meaning they are cheaper TODAY then they were the day the I looked at first release.

Maybe I missed the early release time or something.

I am flying April vacation week out of Hartford,Ct., and know that the prices are going to be steep. Right now AA is the only airline offering a non stop to SJU out of Hartford, and there's only one non stop per day, so when the seats are gone, they're gone. The connecting flights offered right now are horrible on the other airlines. Jetblue will have a non stop with a decent schedule, but again, only one non stop scheduled daily. if I can get r/t air for under 500.00 pp I'll be happy :)

As a previous southwest only flyer, I came across some great deals with JB..

How similar are they? What happens if I need to change a flight or the price goes down, is it anything like sw policy? what about seat selection and boarding, what has been ur experience?

You can file this under well isn't that nifty but not essential knowledge: Jet Blue was founded by a group of former Southwest employees and executives. They wanted to model SW's low cost concept but focus less on connecting secondary markets to major hubs but connecting people to popular vacation routes without a layover. They also set out to become the airline of choice amongst the Gen X and Gen Y crowd - demographics that didn't have loyalty to any one particular airline.

Another JB fan as well - I normally fly Continental because their hubs are Newark and Cleveland but whenever I can fly Jet Blue. Love, love, love the fact they don't nickel and dime you to death :lovestruc Now if only I could convince them there's a big demand for a route connecting Cleveland and Newark - two big popular vacation destinations! :lmao: OK - guess I'm the only one.
