Tell me all about Denver, CO.....

'cause it looks like we're going to move there!

DH, DD (10 months), and I are moving to Denver in June. We'll be living in the Southeast section of the city. What's fun there? Good restaurants? Know of a good daycare? What about things and places I should avoid?

Tell me all about this fair city!!

Even though I'm German my company's headquarters are located in Englewood, which happens to be southeast of Denver.
I can recommend the Park Meadows Mall, it's architecture resembles a giant mountain lodge and it sports a nice assortment of shops and the sports store even has a huge rock climbing wall.
I also loved the Denver Zoo, the Science Museum, and 16th St Mall. Even though I'm more of a beach guy I nevertheless enjoyed the wonderful landscape around Denver.

Your little one will love the Denver Children's Museum. And Ocean's Journey is a great aquarium. Denver is a beautiful place with lots of sunshine. MY DSis lives there and I keep telling DH we should too!

I live up in the Northwest part of the city - Boulder County.

Where you are is the busier part of town, so LOTS of good restaurants, places to shop etc. Can't help you with daycare, but feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
