Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.......

What exactly is it?.....

Is the ticket price on top of park entry?

I'm off to do some googling but would love to hear your experiences :thumbsup2

Thanks.

Ali :)

Yes it is a ticketed event so you need a separate ticket, however I believe they let you in from about 4pm (unless this has changed since I went a few years ago), so if you don't want to go to the park earlier that day you wouldn't need a park ticket too. Some nights do sell out too, so worth booking in advance if you know you definitely want to go, to avoid being disappointed.

My experience is from a few years ago, but they had the Christmas Parade and fireworks, Dance Parties, Cookies and Hot Chocolate, Characters meet and greets, snow on Main Street.

I loved it, would love to go again if I get the opportunity :santa:

We did the first MVMCP of the season in 2012. I loved it. The parade was lovely - sights and smells.;) I reviewed it in my trip report - link in my signature :thumbsup2

Are you going to be there after the 19th? If so don't bother with MVMCP - you can see everything for free during regular park hours from the 20th :goodvibes

Honestly, the parties are generally sold out the last week which makes them uncomfortable. We didn't find it that special especially compared to the Halloween parties.

If you are not going to be there are after the 19th it is worth it to see the Xmas parade & fireworks but as it a separate ticket it isn't cheap ;)

Beautiful pics Juliette :goodvibes Thank you.

If we manage to book this trip it will be done on a budget so am I right in saying if we did not buy disney tickets at all we could simply buy a ticket for MVMCP and gain access to the MK on that day from 4pm?

It just came as a bit of a shock to price up disney 14 day tickets at over £1k! Blimey! We had AP's in the past and so the price of the 14 day tickets took me by surprise - and not in a good way! :lmao:

It's all pie in the sky at the moment but it is lovely to 'dream' about it and also have a plan in place should we be able to pull it off :cheer2:

Thanks again.

Ali :)

Pricing up the MYW tickets right now - I think that they would suit us best :)

Thank you :)

Ali.

The fireworks and parade at the Christmas party are spectacular. But PP is absolutely right. It's the same parade and fireworks Christmas week on a normal park night without the party branding or price tag. I would pay to see them, but if I was there Christmas week I'd wait to see them on a or normal park ticket. We went on the very last night in 2010 and it was mobbed. Rode almost nothing and had to queue well in advance to be able to see the parade and fireworks. They were magnificent but when I saw the same things Christmas Eve I wished I just waited. That said, it was even busier Christmas Eve!!!!

ahh - I shall look into this, we will be there 13th Nov - 28th Nov and this sounds like something our 4yo Son will enjoy!

Bit of a dumb question - but how do they get everyone out of the park to ensure that only people with tickets are at the event? Am I just being dim? :rotfl2:

When we went to MVMCP and MNSSHP, the CMs were asking to see people's party wristbands and ushering people to the exit if they didn't have them.
