How many of you booked cat 12 gty and got upgraded?

Since there are only 13 of these rooms...I was wondering ...

What time of year were you sailing on???

If you got upgraded, were you appy with the upgrade? (location for example)

Upgraded from a 9 to an 8 did not know until we got to the port.

We booked a Cat 12 on the January 23 Wonder cruise and we were upgraded to a Cat 9. I was so surprised that we ended up with such a big upgrade. According to our TA they also look at how many people are going to be staying in the room. We had 4 people. The only problem we have is that when we cruise again, we won't want to stay in an inside cabin, but don't want to have to pay for the oceanview. What a dilemma!!!! But I guess having an inside cabin is still better that staying home!!!! Good luck on getting the upgrade!

Booked a specific cabin 11 months in advance, category 10, got upgraded to category 6 8 days before the cruise.

No, I wish we were planning, but just bought a new business, and it will be a while. We did our 3rd seven nighter this past September with JEanne at our side. So, with a lot of pixie dust, there will one day be another in our future. In the meantime I live through everyone on here......
