Ours really isn't such a strange pet, he's just strange acting!
He goes into these little turbo fits and races around the house going about 90 mph, haven't really figured out yet what sets him off, but he has fun. The only thing you can do is wait them out, usually with your toes tucked up underneath you... for some reason he loves toes and will stop long enough to nip at one before taking off again. The good thing is it really wears him out and he falls asleep not long afterwards
Nothing really strange. I have a main coon kitty named Beek, I have a bichon frise/shihtzu named Mojo, a green wing macaw named George, a cockatiel named Leeta, a black bulgy eyed goldfish named Skipper and siamese fighting fish named Davey Jones.
All the animals are either at the kennel or babysitters right now since we are leaving in the A.M for Disney and it's very quiet and werid in my house right now.
As much as my animals annoy me at times, no way could I live in a house with no pets....my house just seems void right now.
Chickens...Buff Orpingtons, to be specific. Or I did, before the fisher-cat got them. Now I guess I have a well-fed fisher-cat as a backyard pet, and 2 ordinary house-cats indoors.
Living with me, I have a cat named Rowan and 4 African cichlids: an orange one named Nemo (duh), a blue one named Mac, a spotted one named Sybil (because I think he/she is insane--all it does is swim as fast as possible up and down in one of the front corners of the aquarium), and a little bitty guy I haven't named yet.
Living out at my parents', I also have a rooster named Buster.
