We are going the first week in March with all our parents and grandparents.

We have decided on a pool villa simply becuase we can save thousands of dollars and the extra space will be crucial. There is 14 of us. No on eother then our crew (3 kiddos under 5 and my husband and I) have ever been.

Our party will be 3 greatgrandparents 60-70 years
3 grandparents 40's
3 aunts 14, 11, 7
Ours 2, 4, 5

We are renting two vans so we don't have to stick together. The way we usualy do Disney is to eat breakfast go to the park early , lunch at the parks, back to the room about 2, swim, nap etc. Then we usually eat dinner sommewhere and head back for the evening festivities or just hang out.

We plan to do diney every year or so so we don't feel the need to do it all.

I know the guys are planning to do the Richard Petty expeience and we'll take the girls to Bippity Boppity but what other things did you love?

Wow...that sounds like so much fun! We had a group of 14 back in 2003 and we had a great time. One popular event for us was the Hoop dee doo dinner and show. I know it can be tough to coordinate with a large party but for us it was one event we all agreed to go to "for the kids" but I think the adults had more fun! We liked the food and everyone enjoyed the music and dancing. One BIL was even picked to be in the show - we still won't let him live it down.

Fantasmic might be another good choice although it may be too loud or intimidating for the young ones.

Our whole group also enjoyed The Lion King Show at AK. I think that is one of the best shows to see and it's appropriate for all ages.

We have scheduled a pontoon boat to watch the fireworks twice now and both times it has been cancelled due to weather....specifically lightning. Our plan was to enjoy the Boardwalk area, get ice cream, rent a surrey bike, etc. and then go out on the boat to watch Illuminations. Sounded good in theory it just never worked out!

The Boardwalk area and Downtown Disney are both nice places to visit, especially in the early evening.

We went 10 of us (DH's family) and stayed in 3 rooms at All Star Movies. We basically ate breakfast together each morning, decided who wanted to do what and then took off. Not all of us wanted to do the same parks or the same things. For example, DH, DD and me never went in the pool, we were at the parks. But BIL, SIL & 2 nieces stayed behind one day for the pool. We did all eat together one night at the Rainforest Cafe, that was fun and there was plenty of room for us. DH & I are cafe members so we got reservations easily. Have a great time!!
