d"]So, DF and I are recently engaged (in Disney World!) and after spending the past few days researching halls, photographers, etc. here in New York, we decided that an Escapes wedding is suited perfectly for us. (Way more so than the big Italian weddings everyone in Brooklyn has!) The plan is to marry in April 2010 and then go on a Carnival cruise out of Port Canaveral for our honeymoon a couple of days later. I have MANY questions, though, before I settle on this.

- I have a niece who will be 3 years old at the time, and my sister is currently pregnant and due in May, so her second child will be under a year old, will they both count as guests?
- Do all of my guests have to stay on Disney property? Or just DF and I? I ask this because my family has a timeshare at Wyndham Bonnet Creek.
- Can I stay at any resort on Disney property?
- Do they give you a rehearsal?
- Is there somewhere I can find out the cost of add ons and get a price quote? (if no one minds, how much did yours cost for everything?)
- Any suggestions on where to go for a "reception" dinner afterward?
- Most importantly, can I have a Catholic ceremony? (I know a Mass will be impossible, but I need a Catholic priest to marry me and for us to be able to light the unity candle)
- How far in advance must this be booked?
- Can we use the annual passes we get included with the package during our wedding trip?

Anything else you could inform me of that I would need to know would be great! Thank you!!! :-)

I'm really confused by how this all works, lol. If anyone could give me a rundown of what happens, from booking through the actual wedding and what comes after, I'd be very grateful! I would search, but for some reason, I can't seem to find the search button. :confused3 THANK YOU!!!!

First Congrats on getting engaged. I haven't had my wedding yet, but looked into Escape at the beginning. I'll try to answer what I can.

- I have a niece who will be 3 years old at the time, and my sister is currently pregnant and due in May, so her second child will be under a year old, will they both count as guests?I've heard yes and no. The 3 year old will count for sure, but I'm not sure about the infant
- Do all of my guests have to stay on Disney property? Or just DF and I? I ask this because my family has a timeshare at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Only you need a 4 night stay on property to book an Escape
- Can I stay at any resort on Disney property?Yes, any Disney resort will do. Not Swan and Dolphin
- Do they give you a rehearsal?Escape weddings do no get a rehersal, but you can ask your wedding planner and they might be able to set something up
- Is there somewhere I can find out the cost of add ons and get a price quote? (if no one minds, how much did yours cost for everything?)You can go to Disney's wedding website, and play with the Wishbook, but a lot of stuff is out of date, and it doesn't have everything.
- Any suggestions on where to go for a "reception" dinner afterward? If you're going to be in the MK area, you could do Ohanas or Narcoosee's. The Boardwalk area has a bunch to offer. Kat Kora's new restaurant, Yachtsman's Steakhouse
- Most importantly, can I have a Catholic ceremony? (I know a Mass will be impossible, but I need a Catholic priest to marry me and for us to be able to light the unity candle) You book and/or bring your own minister so you can have a Catholic Priest. I think Disney has one on their recommended list.
- How far in advance must this be booked? At most you can book 8 months and as little as a week
- Can we use the annual passes we get included with the package during our wedding trip? Yes, of course, that's why they're given to you

Anything else you could inform me of that I would need to know would be great! Thank you!!! :-)

I hope that helps answer some of your questions. Maybe hope over to the Planning Journals and you'll find some reports from those that have had escape weddings

I am 99% sure you will not find a Catholic priest who will do the ceremony outside of a church.
