Tell me about Xmas ......................

Hi all,

Am looking for adbice from all you lovers of WDW at Xmas !!!!

I will be in WDW for my first ever xmas this year.
Arrive on dec 23
Leave on Dec 27

I am going to MK on Xmas day. I have a PS for the evening.
Can anypne tell me what to expect for my trip.
I know it will be crowded, but how crowded ?
I am not really going for the rides just to watch the parade and soak up the atmosphere.
Has anyone been on Xmas day and enjoyed it and if so what are your tips for getting the most out of the day???

Also I have a PS for shamu dinner on xmas eve.
I have never done this before and am looking for anyone who has to tell me what its like.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what park to do on the 26th???

We have been to the MK the last 2 years on Christmas Day. We've eaten lunch at the Crystal Palace. The park was packed. The only ride we went on was the Transit Authority. We went to see the shows, parades, etc. All of WDW is just gorgeous at Christmas time! The Disney music gets pushed to the way side and Christmas music fills the air everywhere. One thing we enjoy doing is checking out all the decorations at the hotels. The Beach Club has a gingerbread carousel every year in the lobby. The Grand Floridian has an elaborate gingerbread house display. My only advice is to get to the MK early on Christmas day, as it reaches capacity quickly. Our only disappointment was a couple years ago when we realized the Christmas parade you see on television from the MK is pre-taped. You will not see all those stars on Christmas day at the parade.

We will also be there during this time. We're going to MK later in the week though.
