Pretty much impossible to make sure there is a pet loop available when you make your reservation given that WDW doesn't assign sites or loops until a few days prior to arrival.

And I agree with 2Goodfycampers - if management puts me somewhere knowing that I have my dog with me (and charging me my $5 a day for his presence), I would not move unless they offered me something in return for the aggravation. If this was a big ongoing problem, they'd change their reservation system to be a lot more specific about whether or not pets are coming along and how they assign loops.

I did glean, however, that all Full hookup loops are pet loops - so I guess you could guarantee that you're in a pet loop if you book a Full Hookup site (at least at this moment before they change something around again.)

YOu are correct, it is impossible. Book a pet loop (yes, all full sites are pet sites) and make sure it is in the comments of your reservation. The pet issue is really not a big problem. Ask for a pet site in your reservation, pay the extra pet fee when you arrive and life will be good.

Since you all have posted some great info on camping with pets in general, I'll add that there is a great Android app called Pet Care Services that gives you a list of a bunch of different categories of places nearby where you are currently.

I tried to look up Pet Care Services and came up with nothing. The closest app was called Pet Care by appbar curtis. Is this the app you are referencing or is this something different? My wife would be interested in adding the app to the phone so in case we have a pet with us the information is close at hand. Also since my parents are joining us on this trip and they are bringing their dog, this app would be helpful.

You know, it doesn't seem to be available anymore, sadly. I searched and searched when I got a new phone. The closest and best replacement I found so far is called Petcentric (by Purina.) You can also just go to your Google Maps(if you use it) and hit the menu button and go to More, then Places, then hit the menu button again and select add search, then add Veterinarians in there.
